Developmental Screenings: If you ever have concerns about your child’s development, please discuss this with the Service Coordinator. Developmental screenings are available to assess the developmental levels of your child and indicate if further evaluations are needed.
Early Intervention Service: Children who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities may qualify for therapeutic services and family support services through the Early Intervention Program. This program provides developmental evaluations, family support planning, and referrals as needed.
Parent Engagement: Parent engagement is an important aspect of Blessed Beginnings. Programs and meetings are planned to encourage fellowship of parents and staff. Programs range from game nights to having speakers on employment opportunities and developmentally appropriate practices, and cooking classes. It is a good time to get to know your child’s teacher and network with other parents. There will be times throughout the year where you will be encouraged to come in and participate in a special event that has been planned for you. Your child’s teacher will inform you of these events throughout the year.
Child Care Food Program: Blessed Beginnings is contracted into the Child Care Food Program to provide a cost effective, quality, nutritious meal service for children. Blessed Beginnings is under the Child Care Food Program governed by Cornerstone Family Ministries to provide meals of breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack daily.
Child Care Certificate Training Program: Blessed Beginnings recognizes that quality care begins with having quality caregivers. The Child Care Certificate Training Program facilitates online training courses to teens and young adults who wish to become certified in early childhood education. This is done through facilitation of online courses in our learning lab and offering of hands on training with lead teacher mentors in our classrooms.
